Thank you for your suggestion. While it may seem straightforward, there’s actually an interesting edge case involving aircraft with mixed engines. In mixed engine layouts, one engine might be limited to 100% throttle, while others can reach up to 110%.
However, our game’s internal logic ensures that when one of the selected engines hits the 100% throttle limit, the overall throttle is capped at that value. Consequently, we treat the “higher-rated” engines in a mixed layout as non-existent when considering throttle limits.
The good news is that Ultrapack 3.4 Patch 3 will address this issue. Not only will the throttle be adjusted based on the engine limits of the currently selected engine(s), but we’ll also map joystick throttle inputs accordingly. For instance, if your engine has a maximum throttle value of 100%, your joystick’s physical range will be mapped to 0-100%, rather than the current 0-110% (where 90% of the physical movement corresponds to 100% throttle in the case of 100% throttle-limited aircraft).
I appreciate your patience, and we’re committed to enhancing the overall experience.
