;D

I have one map of Croatia made by guy called "Fly_Z" from Croatia (think from Zagreb, like me)
It would be very nice of you to make the map available for my present project, it is not downloadable any  more at AAS.
.If You want I can send few screenshots for illustration.....In case You will start this map I can scan/photo map of Croatia(or NDH - Independent State of Croatia - in period 1941.-1945.) with positions of airports, from some of books I have.
Any info on location and structure of airfields in those days and that area are very welcome, thank you cordially.
Best regars,
Ivan Uzin

Hello Ivan,I just scanned in color maps from my books  - first - CRO ( NDH ) map with marked and indexed airports ( from book "Airforce of the NDH 1941. - 1945." by Danijel Frka / Josip Novak & Sinisa Pogacic)  is scanned in two parts because my scanner is only A4 format ( You can put it together in Photoshop ) ; second map is of island Vis with airport there - used by Partisans, RAF and USAAF ( it is from the book "No. 352 (Y) R.A.F. Squadron" by Tino Jelavi? ).Each picture scanned is between 8 and 10 MB.There are also other b/w photos which can serve as helpfull illustration how airports looked like ( they are not detailed but can help in choice of objects while building map ( this one in post is from island Vis
I will check how big Fly-Zo's CRO map is in MB, and then we can see how to send it to You ( through mail or some other way ).

Regards

Fly_Zo made once 'Croatia plus' map with almost whole Bosnia.  I don't have it anymore, but also didn't hear from Fly_Zo for years now.

8)Hey "Avala", look pictures on my reply ( no11 on first page ) maybe that is the same map, there You can see that whole CRO and Bosnia is on that map.The one I have was send to me by Fly_Zo ( Zemljaci ) in 2008. I think, but it is not populated, Fly _Zo just started that but don't know if it was finished ever.Check your PM.

Hvala Bogu, i Uzinu!!!

This map will be perfect to recreate not only WW2 over Jugoslavija, but Porco Rosso's adventures, too....
Dalmatia is there as it can be seen...

Yugoslavia_West being prepared for autopop:
from left to right:Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Bari and Ljubljana

...and Yugoslavia_East, from left to right-Sarajevo, Boka Kotorska, Prizren and Prishtina:

Textures of the countryside are placeholders only, will be fine tuned.

Google Translate helps a bit, but it's not enough. I'll see what i can do, as well as to identify the locations of the airfields on Google Maps.

Many thanks, it is very rare, valuable historical material.
As for language, I think I undestand rather well, being Ukrainian, speaking russian , czech, and slovak .
Btw, I tried to join Mymap_c files for western and eastern part.  Unfortunately, java pgm for conversion into Il-2 files refuses to work on such large file - 784 x 652.8 km,  at least at my PC.
