Fortress and towns look really great! Have you used "stretched" town texture (-2), I mean that Nish?

That is good populating idea that there are not all the buildings on that texture, only here and there. That texture is so good that it looks like there are more buildings than there are! I am going to try that trick with my Karelia's Viipuri, too!

Thank you for warm words.
City textures are not stretched, used as they are.
Free places in autopoped textures may be used for making city individual : you can add there cathedrals, museums , palaces, railway stations  etc., according to particular city.

I am sorry, but I cannot recognize there Dubrovnik nor Split. As for video, I cannot run it  because of lack of knowledge of its format. Would you be so kind and show any picture where you can recognize any of the cities you named, please ?

I'll see what i can do. :)

Btw, I tried to join Mymap_c files for western and eastern part.  Unfortunately, java pgm for conversion into Il-2 files refuses to work on such large file - 784 x 652.8 km,  at least at my PC.

As far as I have been able to work out, 720 km is pretty much the maximum map length/width that Il-2 can handle.

Cheers.

I'm working on A Cent_Italy 1:1 about 930*570km. To solve coast definition, I've done 4 maps at 50, then I join them and everything is working.

Amazing work! Rovinj can be seen in Red Tails, and other smaller towns in Istria!
