I think this is a worthy request - infact I made one for this class of vessels 4 years ago , here :

It was a significant type.

The Toku-Gata Kuchikukan(Special-Type Destroyer) were the first modern destroyers in the world, it'd be a shame not to see them in IL-2(I find that a lot of minor vessels such as cruisers and destroyers are often overlooked by modders on the site).

nothing wrong with the request at all, but my personal feeling on this is that we already have Japanese destroyers up the wazoo in the sim, with very little to no visual difference between them, and for that reason i don't see the value in any more specific variants, when a simple re-skin of an existing variant would suffice.
much rather, i'd like to see more utility type vessels, barges, small gunboats, etc - the sort of vessels that there literally were thousands of, and which seem to be so scarce in the sim after all these years.
personally i'd find that way more useful for a multitude of IL-2 scenarios.
just my thoughts, no way meant as a slight on the request, which is perfectly fine as it stands.  ;D

Myoko CA is coming soon by ten010, see WIP topic.

Nagara CL is in my plan, but need 10 months or more.

cool stuff, the Sendai and Takao class ships would also be a welcome edition to IL-2.

It should be noted that Uranami is sort of a transition between the Fubuki and Ayanami-class, she has the Ayanami-class funnel and ventilators but has the Fubuki-class turrets.
