Hi Everyone
I am planning to make a new UP3 Mission for our
SAS Dogfight Server:
The players have to escort a big formation of B-17s back to their bases in England.
So I thought of setting up an airspawn-homebase somewhere over western europe at the first waypoint of the bomber formation.
As we're on a Dogfight Server, players can join any time they like, leading me to the question: what happens to someone joining 10 minutes "late"?
He would have no chance to catch up ..
As already discussed
here, it is possible to let ships (in this case an unvisible Test-Runway) travel to any point at any speed on the map by telling them to do so in the .mis file ..
So, I tried to place one super-fast travelling (invisible) runway with a homebase attached to it on the map; following exact the course of my bombers.. and that's were the trouble started:
when editing the .mis file, the hombase got unattached from my ship-runway .. and atm I've got no clue how I can reattach it so it stays with the runway and spawning is possible...
