I cannot get this to work, I have tried multiple versions of modact and the game. I followed the README to a "T" and all the "how to" posts for custom planes. I modified the ANI file, the plane roster, and everything. The only thing I can think of is to update the buttons, but the link wont open for me on the forum post https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,97.0.html

Can anyone help?

As for the time being we are not able to read your mind (but still working on the issue) it would be nice if you could provide some useful detail on what is not working together with your game version and logfile as written in the manual:

Include the following information when you write, or have it ready when you wait for reply. • Your hardware and software configuration including version info. • The exact wording of any messages that appeared on your screen. • What you were doing when the problem occurred. • How you tried to solve the problem. • Any logfile output regarding the issue you’re facing.

I cannot get this to work, I have tried multiple versions of modact and the game...

1- no need to ask the question twice when opening a new topic.
2- if your Mods pack is recent, don't touch the "buttons".
3- and as requested in the previous post...

- Indicate the version of your game!
 
- Read how to get the log here, and the instant log here (Except for BAT which contains InstantLog).

- When you want to post only the relevant parts from the log
read here how to do this. (code option!)

- If you want to post all lines of the logfile we suggest to use https://pastebin.com/
to paste your log and then paste the link here which you got from them.
Read and see here how to do this.

Note: It is preferable to provide the LOG in its entirety!

Modact 6.4, il-2 version 4.12 (steam ver.), no mods installed.

Do not install ModAct 6.4 upon IL-2 version 4.12.X. ModAct 6.4 is for IL-2 version 4.13.4m specifically. For 4.12.2m, use ModAct 5.3.

okay. doing it again with a fresh install of 4.12, modact 5.3, and ill post if it still does not work. sorry for spam, I really want this to work
