Also, sadly, the bombsight is not functional, and with only a bomb loadout as someone mentioned above.

Granted it's wonderful to have the Shackleton in our simulator, I hope she gets a proper 3D in the future like many of us wish for. However this aircraft is testament to how long she served until 1991 with the RAF.

She's a good addition, yes she's a franken but brilliant she was thought of.

Thankyou.

Hi.

I just came across your lovely looking aircraft here and wow it looks good.
The only thing that I have noticed which looks wrong is the propellors. On every Shackleton I have seen (quite a lot), they have had 3 bladed contra-rotating props. Your model appears to have 4 bladed props. The photo you show of the prototype also has 3 bladed props.
I know its probably a WIP so not criticising, just trying to help with a point about authenticity.

Regards

Thank you for your comments! I just have not found a 3-bladed contra-rotating propeller, and I had to put a 4-blade meanwhile.

Regards

in il2-1946, there is a spit pr xix with an accurate contra-rotating prop here:  https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,18078.0.html

Hi eddyp! :)
I left work on this project many years ago.
On the other hand, if someone writes in Java the rotation of two counter-rotating three-blade air propellers for each engine, I will try to install the propellers you are proposing. ;)

Best wishes!
