Hi Greif11, 'Abt wingroot holes.' Even with this 'problem' I'll keep the pit in game, it's beautyfull

about the 'wingroot holes' problem mentioned, is this not simply due to the particular FOV being used in the cockpit?
many, if not all, IL-2 planes will show these 'holes/gaps', (always at the 'peripheral view' of the camera) or not, depending on the selected FOV.

This wonderful "Cockpit-mod" runs without any problems in my 4.10 & DBW!  ;D

I can confirm it works in DBW 1.71.
Thanks very much for this redone cockpit.

That for mission builders

http://www.kentishtowns.com/kentish_towns/in_the_past/beaufighter/index.php

This is the story of aircraft code number R2071 a Bristol Beaufighter which was based at Redhill Aerodrome during World War II and belonging to 219 Squadron of the RAF. This Beaufighter was a Mk 1F, a prototype which lead to four different fighter models.

Cockpit looks lovely, but does not work in my straight 4.10 set up.

just remove class files and try. But that must be without radio altimeter 2nd needle and undercarriage indicator working. Not sure about 2nd throttle.
In dry 4.09 without mods Beaufighter cockpit -has only 1 throttle in 4.12- 2 throttle levers. That cockpit is crossbreed 4.09/4.12.

Difference is just Throttle lever2

Open Hier.him file with notepad and delete or deactivate by //

Code: [Select]
//[Z_Throtle2]
Mesh Z_Throtle2
Parent Body
Attaching 0 0.682001 -0.731351 -1 0 0 0 0.731351 0.682001 0.3063 -0.31824 -0.26145

//[throttle_headL]
Mesh Lever_head1
Parent Z_Throtle2
Attaching 0 1 0   0 0 0.5   0.5 0 0                0.07 -0.0352 0.232

I'v got archived old meshes for beaufighter throttles(with side handle) in stock game SFS all lay as mud deposites.

Thank you Greif11.  This certainly breathes new life into the Beaufighter series.  IMHO - beautifully researched and rendered by the best cockpit maker in the business.  8)
