OK - The actual file that has those designations is at ...Your Il2install/#DOF/STD/i18n/country.properties.  I have not done any other languages though, could this be it?  If so we should get on it.  This is my #DoF - country.properties file.  You can open it with notepad and copy/paste over your existing one easily enough:

Yes ! My game was using the country_fr.properties ; now it's corrected and WWI countries are unlocked. I can delete my old DBW1916 install without any regrets ;) Thanks again !

A good reminder, thank you, we should include all the new country.properties files in the next update.

...meanwhile; anyone can try Gatrasz's fix:

Dawn of Flight Countries - Translation for all languages
UnZIP/UnRAR 'Dawn of Flight Countries' direct to your Il2 Main Directory and allow overwrite.
https://www.mediafire.com/?4vwdu2sijc34pq5

Dawn of Flight was always meant to be DBW1916 for 412.  As such it owes everything to the original project.  VPmedia and his team created it.  We have only tweaked things for 412 and CUP.  We can't thank you enough VP!

Exactly, its beautiful child - a very pleasant turn of phrase we shall use again!  8)

I guess you guys wouldn't think it was quite normal around here unless, with the release of these mods, you didn't have your old nemesis, me, to have some difficulty.  Well, in order to put things right, here I am with a problem.  I did the DOF module install the way I was directed.  Even though I am mostly a WAW player I started DOF to make sure it worked.  Started up fine, I then tried to load a campaign.  It was "The Somme" in Royal Flying Club.  All appeared to be going smoothly until I got a window on the screen telling me "Mission Loading Failed!!!  Error in FM    flightmodels/wwi_engin.emd    it isn't present in file wwi_engin_em".  I tried doing a search in the DOF folder but I couldn't find anything with those file names.  With the last iteration of DOF I learned the importance of Forgotten Countries mod so I made sure it was enabled.  Speaking of, in JSGME there are two Forgotten Countries mods, CUP and SAS.  Does it matter which you enable?  I enabled the CUP one.  Anyhow, any suggestions how I should proceed with that campaign?  Even though it's often embarrassing to ask, you guys always steer me right.  Thank you for your help now, as in the past.

Hi ol' Navy. I've experienced something similar today. It happened in Quick Mission Builder. I tried several planes and everything seemed normal (by the way, wonderful, thank you, Monty!). However, trying to fly some Nieuports I got the same message "Mission Loading Failed!!! Error in FM etc..."
It only happened with some Nieuport models, other ones worked fine. I will try again and I will tell the specific models that lead to errors.

Sorry, no idea how to solve this.

Thanks a lot for your response.  It always makes me feel some better when I find out that I am not the only one experiencing a particular problem  At least I don't feel completely stupid that it's something I alone have done wrong.  Thanks again.  We'll wait.

Gentlemen! Thank you - We have been here before.  The Nieuport family got a big upgrade with a lot of changes.  The danger with large-scale modding  is that fatal changes occur in established models.  I thought we were OK, you have discovered otherwise!  I flew several of those missions and was persuaded we were OK, you have found some gaps.

With RDDR moving house and eMeL testing WAW and JTW, this was all down to me...

Solutions:  We know its limited to the Neiuport Family - Weed out the problem entries, tidy up, fix and re-upload the affected missions.

Result: Small drop-in package DOF-10B with corrections carried over to DOF-11 when that is ready.

If anyone should be 'embarrassed' its me, and thanks for pointing it out.   8) However, nobody should really be embarrassed at all.  We are modding the sim.  This happens and together we will fix it.  That's why we have the CUP Forum and how we have all come so far.

Despite some comments to the contray the fact is that we have all made CUP together.  CUP is a unique community project and you have just demonstrated, again, how and why it works so well.

CUP has never been some stuffy, restricted packages put together by people we don't know in ivory towers we can never visit.  Instead CUP is dynamic, made by the users and customised through feedback and dialogue.  We hit the odd bump, but we are in it together.

Embarassed? - No, I'm proud of CUP and knowing guys like you.

CUP Module 02 Dawn of Flight Pt-10B - Minor fixes before Pt-11

Thank you for your answer, and especially thank you for all your work here.
In the meanwhile, I've spent some time testing all DOF planes.
I have a fresh install of CUP and DOF. No mods added, only using the eight #CUP JSME mods you recommend.

I just tried Quick missions in the map 'Sands Of Time' (because it is rather fast to load). The result is that almost all planes work nicely.
Nieuport N4 (all versions), Nieuport 10 (all ver.), Nieuport 11, NieuportN24 (all ver.), NieuportN27 and NieuportN28 work fine, too.

The only planes that don't load are Nieuport 17 (and versions 17a and 17b), Nieuport 21 (and version 21 Duks), and Nieuport 23 (and version N23).

When trying to load these planes either as player or as opponents a message appears; 'Error  Mission loading failed: Mission Cancelled, Error in FM!!!  There was a problem loading FM called: 'flightmodels/wwi_engin.emd'   It is not present in File: 'wwi_engin_em'

I hope this is a little help. Sorry I cannot make a better guess.

That's a big help SpongeBob thank you.  Those are aircraft we modded and added statics as well.  So we have a rogue classfile to find and 7 planes to re-test.  Piece of cake!  ;D

Thanks very much for listening to my problem.  I have not a clue as to how you fellers go about all this mods stuff.  I am just one of the many who greatly enjoy the fruits of your labors.  As I told SpongeBob earlier, I guess it's just the old "misery loves company" thing.  It's good to know that other folks here have difficulties and not just me.  Thanks for your help, and most especially all the hard work and time that I am sure goes into all this CUP business. :)

;D ;D ;D OK - ALL FIXED ;D ;D ;D

MissionBUG's lovely new aircraft and loadouts are all there along with Bison_M's improved cockpits.  What we didn't need was two tiny FM files already installed elswhere and working fine.=conflict=crash..@*@&#^$%@^#&$*(*

This explains how it tested OK but I forgot to delete them from the Upload Package...

TWO OPTIONS TO FIX.

1- Do it now - Delete 2 files - Il2Install/#DOF/!0000_Classfiles/Niu17_FM and Niu23_FM

...OR...

2- Wait for a bit and re-download - Reinstall new #DOF folder from DOF Part-10 when re-uploaded. - This will be be complete later today so that other people will spared the trouble.

Will post all new link when up.   ;D

As its being re-Uploaded anyway I will also include Gatrasz's fix: Dawn of Flight Countries - Translation for all languages...
