Like you are essentially saying, it's all "made up" to fit the requirements of the story, with whatever fictional materials, technologies, and properties necessary to describe them and make them work.

Hey now, hey now, the Lerche is  ;)  clearly  ;) a perfectly historical concept.

In it's defense, the Germans probably would have made a prototype or two by the end of 1945/beginning of 1946 and (sort of) flown it, so it works based on that.

"All" sounds a little too exclusive, I'd rather prefer to see birdshit on the windscreen but maybe that's just me.

Best regards - Mike
You should not, because you violate the first law of internet :
"All games must have a Star Wars Mod"
Note that you also violate the second law of internet :
"All games must have a Lord Of The Ring Mod"

Frankly I don't mind if it's Star Wars or Lord Of The Ring birdshit or even both.
I still prefer to see birdshit on my windscreen.

Best regards - Mike

"Anti gravity propulsion" is far from mere science fiction. We simply have not yet developed it to the max of its theoretical potential.
Anyway, what sets Star Wars-since we are already off IL-2 here- aside from Star Trek is that the latter actually uses and inspires physical theory and has a sense of scientifical studies around it. It is no coincidence the first Space Shuttle was named Enterprise. :D ;)

Anyway, whatever pleases, I am a Star Wars fan as well, albeit I prefer Star Trek.

I want the Enterprise! :P :D No, I want an F-5, badly.  :D

Anyone who read Lord of the Rings knows it rocks (after the first 200 or so pages of boring pain), pure epic old school, creative and super prolongued tale telling. Only it has nothing to do in computer games.  :D

So, my more than redundant extra 2 cents after a night with little sleep. Back to daylife. :-*
I like Lord of The Rings since I started the attempt to first read it in 1993.

I love both Star Wars and The Lord of The Ring, but I don't understand why people request "mods" for all their games to fit them to Star Wars, Lord Of The Ring (or any other license).
Some game systems fit to the universe, some do not.
And even then, it would need a lot of work to make a mod nicer than what is existing.
If people have fun building it, that's great and I am happy for them, but I don't the point in REQUESTING them

Star Wars seems to fit, not sure about Lord Of The Rings.

All of my yes, I had contemplated requesting some star wars craft for IL-2 or a Star Wars total conversion but I didn't say anything as I was not sure how the SAS1946 community would react.
