I just wonder what sort of flight model(s) these would be able to use, since they were actually "designed" ( in real life) by fantasy illustrators, and movie prop-makers, with no real aerodynamic, or aerospace experience or knowledge in the first place. Everything about the Starwars craft is purely fictional, and made-up. I'm sure that the "airframes" would require a lot of "unobtanium" in their construction, for instance. I haven't seen anything like "control surfaces" on the X-Wing, anywhere, and the Tie Fighter doesn't appear to have any aerodynamic support at all. There also isn't anything like an "orbital" or "space" map in the game. If people are just going to make up cool-looking "vehicles", and arbitrarily decide what their "flight characteristics" would be, why limit things to "Star Wars"? How about Barsoomian "airships", or some of Charles Delschau's "Sonora Aero Club" creations?
