I split the links page up into two parts since some members might have a limit of images per post.

It was rather nice getting all the FMB maps together in one place. It may sound silly, but making those is the most enjoyable part of map making for me ...

It's a small actors and has very few objects since it's mostly wild country ... it might be something on an airfield, maybe one of Cannon's Channel objects? Otherwise I'm certain that nothing special was used in the way of objects.

I can send the starters actors if you wish - that's just an airfield with a few objects ... you'll be missing all the native villages, but they're few and far in between anyway ...

Thanks m8 - I think I've found the offending object. Its a bridge..In unlocked fmb theres an icon but no bridge and it doesnt show in the object viewer. I have shitloads of mapmods including bridges, is there one I've missed?

Cheers

That could very well be an object that doubles as a bridge. There is a bridge objects pack that contains objects that look like the game generated bridges, but which are mainly just eye candy.

This is because the game apparently generates bridges only at sea level. This was OK for the early maps, but later maps started depicting much more complicated terrain, with rivers flowing through mountain valleys and at various heights. In such terrain, the map maker will obstinately not generate a bridge.

So to compensate for that, I think dlv, made a set of objects that have the same appearance as the game bridges, but which are placed as objects ...

Mm strange - I've got the dlv_bridges mod...

I looked at the map again and there arent any bridges showing up at all!

Guess I could place them all myself with something that works if all else fails.

Thanks for the info.
