Feel free!
« on: December 23, 2015, 01:53:13 AM »

I hope to have CUP up and running next year, and then start updating my Spanish Civil War campaigns. Until then: if someone would like to have a go at converting any of them to CUP, please feel free to have a go. I can also help to post any converted campaign on mission4today.  :)

All the best

Hi Poltava , I might be the right guy for this job. But I probably cannot start the work until late january next year. I probably can do a lot from my laptop , but I cannot test them. And that is a risk before then. Is it adding objects , taxi to runway? Can you inform me what you have in mind? a little more specific.
I would spend a lot of time updating your work, I like your campaigns and want them to be as original as I could

I tried the Bibao campaign but discovered that some road convoys were missing.
Should be easy enough to add the missing convoys into CUP and then try again but I am busy with other stuff for CUP at present.

Hi there!

Well, just getting it to run in CUP is good enough. Adding objects is not necessary, but when I myself update odelr campaigns to modded 4.12 (HSFX) I always try to add taxi-to-runway. But really: any help is welcomed that make a campaign compatible with CUP!  :)

Ash!

Doing just that, replacing missing objects and/or convoys etc, in order for a campaign to run in CUP is just fine!!! At your own leisure!  :)

Eh... I think this is going to take some time. I can see many hours of testing and trying. I will be back in the end of January. Then I will take one of your campaigns that I like best and see how big ambitions it is possible to have to make them as good as they should in CUP . As long as we do not change the type of planes, the timing only need slight changes.
But the time to change them and testing them is pretty brutal. Man you have made a lot of campaigns. :)

Great stuff Otto!  I feel we really do have the definitive version now with CUP.  We have a chance to upgrade and preserve some of these great campaigns and this time I promise; no more chasing around after other people's agenda's.  This is our project at SAS and what gets fixed stays fixed!  ;D

Agreed, and getting campaigns working with it is pretty damn important. I have some ideas how to do it effective , if I spot the problems fast enough. I worked pretty fast with stock campaigns witch I sometime cloned and rebuild using different planes. But that takes a whole lot of changes

Well I have nothing to show for yet, I fly 3 simulators and could only accumulate 3 hours in my two weeks of homecoming. Everything is on fire in real life :)
I leave for sweeten and going to tear down a huge industrial pipe for the next two weeks.

It can be like that sometimes. Don't worry. This is a hobby, right?  ;)
