C.U.P.- Module 03 - World at War Pt-16

*************************************************************

CUP Module 03 World at War Part-16:

REQUIRES C.U.P. UP TO DATE AS FAR AS PART-15

THE LATEST FULLY FUNCTIONAL ALL FIXED UP TO DATE CLEAN WORLD AT WAR

With special thanks to SAS~Benitomuso for enthusiastically helping to impose Classfile Order.  Those little suckers have been tidied up while any slackers or deviants have been gently sent away to rehabilitate elsewhere.  The result is:

SUPER CLEAN PART SIXTEEN - DON'T MESS WITH IT!

*************************************************************
The Community Universal Patch - C.U.P. So named because it drops neatly over a clean install of Il2-412 to transform the simulator.
*************************************************************

C.U.P. Module 03 World at War Pt-16A/B/C

Pretty much a simple 'drop-in' set, that overwrites the previous position, Part-16C also provides the latest #WAW Backup folder - Always with your safety in mind!

Yes its true!  We integrated all YT2's He-111 family with PA_Jeronimo's wheels and spinners (where possible) and Twister's Flying Bomb Mod!  You can see the He-111 Carrier Plane in action by going to SINGLE MISSIONS/NONE/00-DEMOS/V1, there is also the V4, the piloted test version.

We achieved a similar thing with the Ju-88 family, adding Doc Holiday's fantastic aircraft and the rest of the extended family!

Both the He-111 and Ju-88 families are futher enhanced by DreamK's Torpedo and Mines re-works and loadouts.  All of these aircraft, and many others have a vastly expanded repetoire of armaments to deploy.  DreamK has created many new 3D models and functioning ordnance for one of the most game-changing mods in Il2 history.

Stork Family Expansion
Bombsaway's brilliant Arty Spotter is now in CUP.  Similar in principle to the Stinson Arty Spotter, you may now bring down the wrath of gods from your Stork.  Kumpel's 'Storch Clones' add the superb OKA-38 Russian Stork, with a smart new Russian cockpit and an Observer sitting in allignment with the pilot.  A similar job was done to create an Observer variant of the German Stork, with a different German cockpit, no guns and smaller wheels.  The original Ranwer's Stork is now called the 'Fi-156 Storch Armed' and retains the gunner and larger wheels.  Finally we have the Morane Saulnier MS500 and 502 variants of the licenced copy made after the war.  Find these under 'Various Nations'.  Thanks to SAS~Gerax for helping source some of the older forgotten files and Mission_BUG for stepping up with the static FMB models.  Is there any aircraft this guy doesn't have?  Thankfully, no!

SAFETY BACKUP:
'C.U.P. Module 03 World at War Pt-16C' contains a safe, complete and fully functional Backup #WAW folder, at 114Mb.  If you inadvertantly break #WAW simply rem out this folder (-#WAW) and replace it with the one from 'C.U.P. Module 03 World at War Pt-16C'.

Thanks to eMeL, Max The Hitman and RDDR for new default skins on many of the aircraft in C.U.P.  Three of the finest Il2 skinners, and good friends, they have their own paintshops at Hangar-19 and all are welcome to visit.

An amazing Christmas pressy....... :)

Thank you Simon and of course all the hundreds of modders who have made this Sim so extraordinary.
And it goes without saying, a thank you to all who run and provide SAS for us all to enjoy.

If it was not for CUP I would never have the ability to add all these mods and not make a cock up of it .

May you all enjoy the festive season and heres looking forward to a peaceful (hopefully) New Year .

Simply amazing - installed all 6 parts effortlessly, missions load almost instantly on my rig - well done lads!! Just one gripe; My sounds a bit crackly now especially inside the cockpit?

I can't believe all the time you folks are devoting to this. Then I remember how much time it took me to research and produce my campaigns. It's a work of love and mighty welcome.

Thank you all!

Thanks for all the hard work to make this come true Monty. This is truly a dream come true; to see the Ju 88 family, bubble canopy Ki-61s and 100s, p47s with the new engine mods, Ranwers D 520 and many many more assets now available with C.U.P. It has been a great modding year indeed. I wish to express my sincerest thanks also to all modders without whose work there would not be a C.U.P.

Merry Christmas,

I can't believe all the time you folks are devoting to this...

Its also good fun and look here, all the good company too.

These latest upgrades have tidied up the CUP stucture, starting with WAW, to a high degree that makes it even easier handle the content.  Resolving various classfile conflicts is its greatest strength and even surprised us testers at times.

The new structure means that SASEngineMOD 2.7 + Western's Patch is standardised across all modules.  Tiger33's Flybys are hard coded and players should try the Bf109 F4 and the Grumman Duck particularly, it would be good to get more feedback on this too.  Are you all hearing the flybys?.  Other soundsets can be tried as well, without breaking the flybys, just put them inside #WAW above 'Classes-Sound'.

The only note of caution I would sound is this:  We have a lot in there and the diversity is incredible.  The sources of all these mods varies a great deal as well; I would feel free to experiment with sounds, providing they add no new classfiles, but be VERY careful when considering adding other mods and associated classfiles.  At this stage #WAW is a big modified install now.  One tiny, un-accounted for, classfile (or an FM) could easily upset your finely tuned setup.

Part-16C/#WAW provides the freshest up-to-date backup #WAW folder, make sure you know where you put it, or else come back here when you need one.  Anyone can also drop the bits for the Christmas Goodie Bag back in there and the un-compressed sounds.  So we are backed up safely...  :P
