Brand new beautiful install FUBAR
« on: December 29, 2015, 08:32:28 PM »

FUBAR again.
Starting again, This time from a very clean 1946 install  &  the Step by Step (again),  and I am now about to do the WAW part 12 & the directions say that after installing #WAW pt12 to again install the MME pt 12.   Monty27 says in the readme "it is redundant but necessary"  that is, if i'm reading it correctly......

I want to be sure it is still necessary because I am really getting tired of having things going so well & then"BOOM" I start getting things that
don't load or freeze at 30% etc & I haven't a clue what I may have done wrong...ha ha...

Under Introduction:

Reinstall MME12 (and optional 13) when you have installed DOF-Pt06 and/or WAW-pt12
and/or JTF-pt06.  Read the restore point threads for more info!
(yes, we know its redundant, but so you get a working install. And thats what counts..)

This is the thread that I was referring to.

PapaG39,
Here a a checklist I made that worked great for me. Just cut and paste into Word or notepad and check them off as you go.

Thanks Mcoady..
That's what I use to follow along all the way to pt WAW 17.
Then the initial install works fine until
later on when I start going from one aircraft to another to check out sounds etc.
Then all of a sudden it will start freezing at 30% when I change one aircraft to another.
I read the log file, but I don't understand what it is telling me...

Things really go to hell when I try to install a campaign...Sooo...I'm not gonna do any more campaign installs
unless they are expressly certified by Monty27 & have a "put this piece here & that piece there read-me...ha ha
there is plenty to do with single missions already..  Uber Damian has a bunch of missions & they seem to work fine.

papaG39 - freezing at 30% as you try different planes ? Read about this earlier on somewhere else on here, activate WAW sound option 2 through JSGME, there is an issue with sounds related to the Merlin engine
