AEG C IV / AEG C IV N Takeoff
« on: January 04, 2016, 02:26:27 AM »

Anybody managed to scramble the AEG C IV / N  in DOF ?
I find she won't rev out and makes about 20 kph..........    :(
Tried loading the ( fully functioning ) DBW 1916 version but with no joy
Any ideas ?

Cheers

Hello-
I noticed the same trouble with the same aircraft... If you start in the air, you're alright- but if you land and try to take off again, or if you start the mission on the ground, forget it! Someone who can open up the FM for these should be able to fix it easily by changing engine parameters, especially when there are similar aircraft (AEG J1, J2) that work right. All you need to do is compare engine and prop params for one of those with the CIV and whatever the trouble is should be obvious...

Yup, I did a test flight in you AEG C.IV/N and the AEG C.IV.  Same result.  No power on take off.  Thought it might have been operator error but the Auto pilot couldn't do it either.  I thought it might have just been to heavy so I dumped the fuel down to %10 with the same result.  Must me the FM.
