Well guys, just conversed with Geezer, the WW1 objects maker, he can send me the objects in 3ds format If we can make the objects useable to Il2 by ourselves. Is anyone interested? Maybe you Mission_Bug? There are several objects as you guys have seen, some of them will be really great additions!

Hello RealDarko, if the author converts them as before into a file I can use I will give it a go sure.  8)

Please be aware though that is not a guarantee I can succeed, but like the cavalry I will certainly try, hopefully like before due to the generosity of that author we can all end up with some very interesting objects. ;)

Take care.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Pete check your PM folder please. Hope we can improve DBW1916 a bit more with a common effort.

Hello RealDarko, sorry that file I cannot use. :(

The format I found to be the best with the cavalry was OBJ. ;)

Sorry about that, I was confusing the 3DS files that I make from IL-2 meshes, those I can open in gmax but the file you sent I cannot open directly although I would think anyone with 3ds max could.

Take care.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

I'm trying to help all the ways I can.

So Pete, should I ask for the rest of the objects?

Yes please RealDarko, I might as well make a pack of all the objects that were shown in the illustrations if the author is willing to convert them for us. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

That means he doesn't want to continue the development of this map. Sadly.

 :)    :D
Hey guys, I just found out, thank to Stalker on "Ace Combat" site a whole series of objects and characters developed by Geezer for "First Eagle" are truly remarkable and could give more realism to the our airport scenary ... it would be great if one of our most talented creators of 3D objects with the author permission could turn them into files compatible and moddable ... and then there's really everything at least in the pictures posted on this site!
