Update of my Ju-87G-2, she's now had her top decals applied and varnished over.

Yes indeedy, however to some it's like Marmite in terms of build enjoyment. Due to sanding, corrections and so forth many modellers consider this a non likable build.. however I don't see what's wrong as she goes together nicely.

Meanwhile I've added her deadly armament of the twin 37mm Cannons. This certainly beefs up the Stuka to her last role in 1944-45 in ripping Soviet tanks apart.

I don't mind a bit of sanding and carving. Not a fan of filling, especially when it's noted on the instruction sheet - yes, I'm looking at you, Revell 1/48 Spit XVI.

Anyhoo, neat progress on the tin-opener.

Anyway, upper cowling added and propeller painted and test fitted before the spiral decal is added. She's nearly done!






By the way the engine cover just slots into place and hasn't been glued so the engine will still be seen.

The canopy was a little bit of a pain but I did enjoy painting it. I'm glad you like her though, 5 days work and a kit which a few model makers consider a headache I didn't experience any such experiences.

The next models I have in mind are the Revell Junkers Ju-88, Frog Bf-110G-4 and the original Revell Spitfire Mk.IIa.

The Mk.II should be a good kit to make, it came out originally in the 1960's but she's actually adorable looking when finished... a very cute model this one.
