Morning all on SAS,
After the success of the Revell Spitfire Mk.V let's look at the equal fighter of the time, the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc by Matchbox. Now earlier last month I made the Matchbox Spitfire Mk.IXe which was a fantastic kit, simple to build but yet full of detail considering it was from the 1970's. This model dates back to exactly the same period, 2 sprues and strangely 2 canopies. The only other kit I had with this privilege was the first Saab Draken kit which I screwed up no thanks to those silly spray varnishes.
Also to note as many here may remember I tried building the Airfix Hurricane IIc from 2010 and the build WAS going well until again the sprays ruined it.
Still this one should go like clockwork as before!
The kit will be painted in the colours of LK-A (BE500) which was based at Warmwell in 1941, a well known Hurricane station.
