Morning Gerhard,

I've just tired your SweetFX/Re-Shade collaboration and I can see some benefits such as enhancing colours and vibrance of the maps, as well as no lagging of the framerate... although graphically because I'm so used to doing darker-detail enhancing.... So it's why in my head as well as eye view that it's not really much different from the stock graphics look...

I did a couple of screenies with my personal Spit XIV with it enabled and when it's switched off... the lighting is improved with high framerate restored as well as colour enhancement but not detail... which my version exploits. If you wish I can share the one I use? FXAA is what does the trick for me... I wonder if I selected that then it would be perfect with your SweetFX enabled?

I'll definitely keep it and fart around with the settings to see if there are more benefits to behold..

Hello Eric,

my SweetFX settings make IL-2 livelier, take out the grey. That bothered me 20 years ago!

I do the structural improvements to the landscapes and objects with my settings in the Nvidia driver.

As already described:

Antialiasing x 8 (no FXAA!)

Anisotropic filtering x 16

I'm sorry, it's in german...:



The rest you'll do in conf.ini.

about the third picture from above, where you have the spitfire in your gunsight, i wanted to say that not opening fire in such situation requires lots of willpower and focus that only a real Zen Master can handle.

I shoot many of my friendly planes that way.
