Bison_M's improved wheels and hooks for the driveable jeeps look really good.

Strictly speaking the Jeep and Kubel are a little early for 'The Golden Age' scenarios.  However, they fit well.  Both vehicles are close to contemporary types.  The Kubelwagen was in production by 1938, the Jeep in 1940 and FIAT had similar types out in the early 1930's.

Sorry about the size of this upload but new SFS files replace the old ones rather than adding more smaller ones.

Mission_Bug completed this interesting project begun by Bison_M.  Their collaboration and mutual support has worked wonders across a number of genres up at Franky's place.  UberDemon's TB-3 Transports mods complete the picture...

Tupolev's Giants
In the years between the Great Wars Andrei Tupolev designed a series of bomber and transport aircraft for the Soviet state.  Considered among the most advanced designs of their time the aircraft have largely become little more than forgotten footnotes in aviation history.

Now we can get on with the campaigns for this set.  The Golden Age has a lot in it now and feels more like a complete CUP module at last.  8)

Anyone else having trouble downloading this file?  The first time I got a defective file and now when I try, I get an empty ZIP file.

Well, it looks like it's just not my day!

I have never had any problems with installing the new mods, until today, that is...

Everything in TGA loads fine to the main menu screen.  If I click on QMB, it locks me up.  If I go into single missions and load a mission that used to work for me, it loads to the map screen but after I press, "Fly" it loads up to a screen filled with a blue sky.  As if I don't have any planes.  This happens on any mission I try to load.  I have no JSGME mods activated.

Anyone else?

Hi Monty,
Downloaded Pt 06 today everything is working great,
love the added objects and aircraft.
I was hoping you might have included the static.ini information for the aircraft Polikarpou U_2nb//U_ nt// and U_ vs (SHKAS) which shows up as a flyer, as I was hoping to use them to complete  the campaign Espagne.
If you can't because of programming  problems if you could let me know I will use something else in place of it.
Cheers edc1 (stan)

Just to close my trouble report above...  It is now fixed.  :D   It turned out to be the problem I have seen a lot of people report on, the "last.quick" problem when switching modules and trying to run QMB.  It's amazing but I have never experienced that problem before.  I don't know why and I always wondered what others were talking about.  Well, I know now!  I don't know what changed in my install to cause it but, now it does that for me. :(  Aren't computers fun ???

I tried the fix to make the "last.quick" file a read only file but that didn't work.  I need to delete the file to eliminate the problem.  At least, that's what I have to do today.  :P

I also had to re-download the file.  I had trouble earlier getting the file from Mediafire and that caused some problems additionally.

All looks good now!

Just wanted to add some stock planes to this wonderful mudpack.  I was reading a couple of books about the Sino-Japanese air war of 1937-1941, and so here are some planes to add to the air.ini if you want to expand your options in this area:
  In the Russian section:

DB-3b             air.IL_4_DB3B 1                       NOINFO  r01   SUMMER
DB-3M             air.IL_4_DB3M 1                               r01   WINTER
SB_2M-100A        air.SB_2M100A 1                               r01   SUMMER

and you can create a Japanese section as well:

*              air.Placeholder
************Japanese            air.Placeholder
****************************************              air.Placeholder
*              air.Placeholder

D1A1-Susie               air.D1A1_IJN 2        NOINFO  ja01 SUMMER
D1A2-Susie               air.D1A2_IJN 2        NOINFO  ja01 SUMMER

A5M4              air.A5M4 2                                   ja01  DESERT
A6M2              air.A6M2 2                                   ja01  DESERT
A6M2-21           air.A6M2_21 2                        NOINFO  ja01  DESERT

Ki-21-I           air.KI_21_I 2                                 ja01  SUMMER
Ki-21-II          air.KI_21_II 2                                ja01  SUMMER
Ki-27-Ko          air.KI_27_KO 2                                ja01  SUMMER
Ki-27-Otsu        air.KI_27_OTSU 2                      NOINFO  ja01  SUMMER
Ki-43-Ia          air.KI_43_IA 2                                ja01  DESERT

Just for the time being, this will add some options to one of my favorite periods of history.
