Updates not taking
« on: February 04, 2016, 04:37:12 PM »

Hi All,

quite possibly a numpty question but here I go.

I had no problem downloading WAW updates up until about 12. Since then the updates don't seem to be taking (that is aircraft not appearing ::( ).

Is there something I'm doing wrong, I have been very carefully following the instructions. I put it down to bad downloads and kept back reloading until 18 and actually managed to get it to work. Now I have just done 19 and the whole thing has gone again, back a few updates and none of the 19 content.

As I said I have been following the instructions to the letter so I have come to the conclusion that I should just REM out the #WAW file and completely start again from one of the earlier restore points.

So my questions are:

Is this a good idea?
If so what restore point should I go back to?
Am I a complete nOOb and have done something wrong?

Well, here is an update.

I back tracked to #WAW13 and completely re-installed each part an played each in turn to make sure each took. Got all the way to 20 and everything still working!

Yippee, or so I thought. I re-activated the JSGMEMODS I like and......not working again.

So process of elimination it turns out the culprit was "#WAW_HP52_HampdenMkI". Has anyone else had a problem with this?

The worst thing was that spent a good part of the day sorting it out being fixated that it was the updates at fault and it turns out I could have fixed it in about 30sec.

Oh well lesson learned.
