I'm afraid the resulting map, would be far too large and not even load in the game. Both maps at at around map size limits on their own ...

And besides, the 2 maps would not form a rectangle when joined together. I think both share a teensy tiny bit of land area in common around Zaragoza. And turning the two maps into a rectangle as required by the game, would not only double the surface area, but more likely quadruple the surface area ...

So, as they now are, they'll have to stand alone ...

Hard to say, as it's now Kapteeni who will be doing the populating ... that part is (happy happy, joy joy) out of my hands for now ... ha ha.

If he starts work on it, then I'd say it will still be autumn or so at best before it's done.

Hmmmm... it's in a very basic state at the moment ... it's not even really texturized either and i can state with about 99% certainty that the few textures is does already have will really need to be replaced anyway ...

But - if you'd like to see it, and more importantly if you wish to assign different textures than those already assigned, then just say so ... but remember, there are no objects, no airfields, no really well assigned fields or anything ... just a working map, very basic but with wonderfully shaped landscapes ...

I know I ought to see about getting it done further, but I'm about to leave for an internetless sojourn of a month and besides that am juggling a number of maps in various stages of completion ...

But if you'd like a copy nonetheless, then say so quickly cause I will be on the road in about 36 hrs from now ...

no! please take your time. as much as i like the Gibraltar spot, i would rather see you travel with ease of mind instead of rushing something in a stressful situation.

Thank you ... and actually there are quite a number of members in on some of these maps. Several maps were requests so they are specifically being completed by others. And there is always Riptide, a very talented maker of villages and towns and all kinds of configurations with objects, especially for the Far East.

And there is also Lejo who is making repaints of objects specifically so they will be better suited to Spanish and Mediterranean maps ... all new objects too

And there are others who have taken a map to populate on their own ... we'll see what comes of it all, but generally they do progress ...

I'd say that by autumn, there should be a number of new maps finished and available - Cape Gloucester, Batavia are likely candidates, Iran-Soviet border fight and Viet-Minh as well ... and who knows which others ...

My JV69_LYBIA_N-E don't want work with 4.09m also if change name at MTO_Lowland_3.tga and rename it in MTO_Lowland_3_Fields.tga , i suppose that this map is corrupted, but i don't found a link for downloading again.
Anyone know where can find it. ( The maps in C6 ModPack seem obsolete ).

what des it need, "only" populating?

I was asked it were possible to provide a list of maps that are in progress. Here are a number of maps that are in various stages of completion, some more than others. Some are requests that are being finished by other members ... some are just sadly languishing through lack of interest or imagination or because they are stuck due to faults of my own.

Most of them lack populating with objects, so anyone wishing to do this task may always ask for a specific map ... I'll be only too happy ...
