Basically no matter what I do, I receive the message that 'the program did not install correctly last time' or something similar, even after restarting etc.

The mod and your recommended color temp settings are relatively subtle changes, but they made my game look significantly more real. Thanks for putting this together.

Thanks Avala, great little utility. I find my graphics look better, and a little bonus, I get a slight improvement in frame-rates also  :)(just 2fps, but every little helps). :)

Does this potentially ruin you monitor? If it doesn't then I will use it.

Thx,

@Liamp51: no it does not.

Each computer monitor has been factory-calibrated when it was delivered, in most cases that's OK, but those colors can be adjusted for people who want to control their intensity, vibrance etc. Color Control simply put.

That is what this program does exactly. If you use it with care and don't do anything excessive with it, then it can't cause any damage.
That's all.

@SkyHigh: Getting 2 extra FPS can hardly be caused by this program, since all it does it tweak your colors which have absolutely no influence on framerates. :)
So I think that's a placebo effect you're seeing, but if that works for you, then it's ok. ;)

Eexhaton, maybe you're right, and I'm imagining it, but I think not-could the changed colours have some affect on the workings of my graphics card? I know the program is altering the monitor, but isn't it all interconnected? And I haven't a clue what I'm talking about!

I don't think so, since this program adjusts the output of the monitor and not the videocard. :)

Unless your video-card was defining colours, as my ATI one used to ;)
