Everyone knows that Il2 radio comms are "a little" crappy and they produce many stutters in
game, especially during heavy dogfights.

Sometime ago Mr. HolyGrail (Superior Pontifex of the Sacred Heart Church of Modding ) have suggested that those stutters are related to the IL2 speech files format, and they're experienced above all by players with onboard soundcards. Thanks to HolyGrail!

So I'm resampling the radio speeches from the original Il2 format, which was
in MPEG Layer-3 11kHz Mono, to PCM 22kHz 16bit Mono.

I've began with Luftwaffe and Japan ones cause I normally fly with Axis AC. I'm ending GB's speech, but it's an hard bloody work.

I've changed some sounds with mute files (from short speech by
Browning50cal...thanks to him) so comms are a little "quicker".
I've added DE Actors4 (Ground Control) with the female voice by MercenaryMuffin's (thanks).   

Install DE and JA folders (backup your original ones before) into IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\samples\Speech\...
and enjoy no more stuttered flights.

Thank you very much. This will be a most welcomed change to the game.
I don´t understand German or Japanese, but anything that will make the game sound
more realistic and make the overall gaming experience a much better one is always
welcomed... specially a females voice over the radio! 
BTW, is it Lilly Marlene speaking ?  "... Liebling, kommen bitte nach Hause zurück und parken Ihr Flugzeug in meinem Hangar" (Darling, please come back home and park your airplane in my hangar)
She has such a sexy voice

... well I tried the DE sounds, and apart from the fact that it is (obviously) heavier, 69 Mb instead of nealy 6 Mb, I must admit I prefer the original samples because of a high pitched kind of echo I get with this samples mod.

that is just fantastic and very appreciated work done .
It's a helluva work to resample all those sounds files 
If not for you , probably nobody else would be willing and
interested in doing it , I really wanted to but it was soooooo
time consuming and we have a lot of other IL-2 related
work to do that I had to gave up on it .

I owe you hguderian ! it might not seems to others but it's a
lot of work to resample sound file to PCM format and it is
definitely worth it , especially for onboard sound card users .
Anything that helps to get rid of those micro stutters and
game pauses during pilots communication is very welcome .
