3DS Max / G-Max Units Set Up
« on: April 15, 2016, 09:21:48 AM »

Quick question: I've been using a vast range of units and set it up differently all the time and it tends to lead to my files being all in all different sizes; some in Inches, some in meters, some in centimeters, etc. I was just curios to ask any modders out there about what their unit setups are at and what they prefer to use. :-X

Here's mine (for now)

What do you guys use?

Best Regards,
Rick

Hello Rick, I use gmax and from your image it looks like we have the same settings. ;)

Attempts to use other settings ended up with the extracted objects being huge when added to the game. :D

Take care.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Thanks for the reply Pete! 8)

Glad to see I've got the setup correct, I mean so far my model's have been accurately sized, but I was curious if I perhaps was lucky. I remember not having a correct scaling and ended up with a barn that was the size of 2 whole airfields... ???

Many thanks again.  :)
