Just like Ricky said, "there goes R/C for us"

Being an avid R/C modeler, I take pride in ensuring that I operate my aircraft correctly. I also take more pride in teaching others that the hobby as we know it would not exist without safety.

When I hear about things like this happening, it makes me extremely sad to see people destroying the hobby for everyone else and future generations as well.

Sincerely,

James

Fuck drones.
Don't like them as private for fun toys or as mil assets, too easy to cause damage either way.

The people who are ignorant of the rules around flying radio controlled aircraft are now becoming a problem and the drone market is out of control. For instance some irresponsible company advertised on the tv that they had cheap drones and you pay nothing to fly them and you can watch your neigbours.

If this is the case then how can we expect the public to learn the rules and fly safe.I can see the day when the RC world will be very over regulated because of the hysteria associated with drones.I just want to fly my model plane.I no the rules and fly as safe as possible.I just hope this is just a fad and some day the, I have to try that for a bit of fun folks will move on to the next dodgy toy.

Made me laugh, Boss. I'm not sure how many will get the reference, but I did. One of my favorites.

Some methods use to hunting down drones:

I think, the trained eagle are the best-nearly impossible to an "weekend drone pilot" to outmaneovering an naturally born aerial predador 8)
Anti-drone/drone air-combat-like the big boys?
