Hello.
My apologize, missing to check contents folders inside of your projects.


Here is a common matter you've released vehicle and tank packs not only in this topic.
The archives you published look having the same 3d model data of tanks or machine-gun vehicles in 3do/artillery/ folders from 3do/tanks/ or 3do/cars/ folders.
But those 3do/artillery/ folders are never used by any of technics.ini's MeshSummer / MeshSummerDamaged lines.

Even tanks and machine-gun vehicles (self propelled guns) have Artillery class stationary.ini entries for "Stationary Armor" , those 3d models are loaded from same technics.ini section of tanks / vehicles' MeshSummer / MeshSummerDamaged lines.
So, 3do/artillery/ folders are not needed, pure loss of disk space.

Thank you very much for the information western0221, I was not aware of that. 8)


A lot of the vehicles in the pack still require texturing, if a artist comes forward to do that I will update the pack accordingly. ;)

Nice job. I saw the genuine article driving around Camp Casey, Waegwan in 2006 when I was teaching English in Korea.

This ABRAMS tank model (American tank) was created by the artist-modders

Install those models packs and write the needed lines to make them work.

...after you do that, you can install my package into those folders from
the above download  and let it overwrite the old skins and add teh new folders for new models.

After that you will also need to add some new lines for the EXTRA ABRAMS tanks with more skin colors
for your game.
This will be added to your Static.ini file,
located in your 4.12 game version.... IL2_1946\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\#SAS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects

You will notice that the skins inside the folder named "ABRAMS" will be for the desert version.
It is for the moving+shooting version and also for the static version.

I left this because most of you game fans have already started to make "desert wars" and have been
using this desert tank version for your missions... and they remain as a desert camouflage tank and
will not mess up your already made missions.

The other "static" tanks have diferent camouflage and colors. These will be for populating
your maps and missions for EXTRA American tanks to shoot and blow up or simply for making map scenes.
If you wish to make them moving, just change the skins you see inside the "tanks" folder which is
the moving+shooting version.

Nice!  :)
I was scrolling around some topics and i found out now that there is a Abrams tank model and also one for the PT-76
Can they be added in the next patch of BAT? (if they don't cause problems with other mods of course)
