Sun shining through cockpit frames

I know this is an old problem, so my apologies for raising it again. Flying bf 109G2 in Dgen Stalingrad campaign in CUP (no additional mods), sun shining right through the cockpit frame. I seem to remember this was fixed in the bf109 Ultimate Pack, so I don't know why it has appeared again. I will do some investigating, but in the meantime does anyone have any ideas to resolve the issue? Much appreciated.

BTW, cyberolas' RRR of the Stalingrad map is a work of art - worth flying for the sightseeing!
