I'm that that I could help. I'm sure that it will be a great map. My favourites are Stalingrad (better than BOS map) and Burma, but I use all of them. In fact theyre one of the main reasons that I will be playing this game for years to come.

The Dutch air base on the second Singapore map is pure fantasy as there was no such base in that location in reality. It was presumably included to be able to have a Dutch campaign on Dutch territory in PF.

Sumatra had several aerodromes in 1941-42, but none in the area of the IL2 Singapore map. There were aerodromes at Medan and Palembang (P1), for instance (plus P2, a secret aerodrome roughly southwest of Palembang), plus several other locations.

You can use Zutis Actors Management tool to extract that Dutch airfield on Sumatra and add it to your new actors.static. I can help if needed.

I think there could be stay default airfield. Try to remember campaign "The Foolish thing" - even if it was no-historical, it had great success...and this campaign started from Sumatra.

Yes the default airfield should be kept, I meant that if you deleted that field I can help to just put it back in a few minutes instead of rebuilding it.

P2 is like Pitomnik. Everyone knows it was there, but no one is precisely sure where it was. I've seen published works quote it as anywhere from 7 miles from Palembang to 40 miles + :(
