Take Courage (preferably a fresh one  8)), amigo, because making a plane for IL2 from scratch, especially a sea plane is no easy task, very time consuming, the "easiest" part being the external 3D one ...!  :P

So very, very pleased to see that someone has picked up the torch on this one. I had posted an inquiry on this plane not knowing that you had began a fresh start on it. If you caught my post, you will have gathered that at one time in the past someone else had the same desire for a Do 24 as well. "Cloyd" remembered as too but neither of us could remember where we had seen it. "Cloyd" thought that maybe "just champin" had been the author. I scoured the planet and can't find that particular post...oh well.....sure hope you are making headway. We  can all bet it will be more than worth the wait! And upon success this may inspire other modders to work on some of the other German "Seaplanes" that were in service during the war years. Thank you for your work and dedication to keeping our beloved IL-2 alive.  8)

Well done dude. This will keep the sea plane and flying boat fans happy. Me included. I may be in a position to do some gaming again soon. I haven't even looked at a game screen since May. It's been too long.

I thank everyone for the kind words. There has not been much progress. I am still in the middle of my Fokker TV and TVIII projects.
A gentle nudge or a swift kick always helps me move my projects along.  ;D
