Just my two cents worth.  I also had that same thing happen.  Download said it was going to DropBox.  Kinda surprised me but I figured what the heck so I let it.  When I looked in my Dropbox folder it wasn't there.  It was on my desktop like I wanted, and the way I had downloads set.  My old, feeble mind has a hard time digesting these anomalies, so I just let 'em pass on by.

Kiwi - There is an issue with your setup. If DCG isn't working correctly before your instal this campaign, it will not work correctly after installing this campaign.

I need more information: What side are your flying? Some screenshots would be great too. All the information I can get to help diagnose your problem.

X-man,

Great campaign!  Very immersive and realistic.  Greedy person that I am, I would love to see you continue the saga.  Any chance of continuing this chronologically past Spring 43?

An extended campaign would be a definite winner for me.  Easy for me to say, I know, since the work will be on you, but I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks,

heres the briefing: and my dcg settings the settings you provided in the first post in this thread give a transfer mission to anvers in a bf110c4 which isnt really a transfer mission because you have to fly back to the original airfield. all the other planes as well as all squadrons also give a bf110c4 transfer mission

edit: should i be going run>generate campaign from the dcg window and using the user generated winter40 campaign or should i be picking the campaign from the ingame careers>new

It seems like a class file problem. Do you use the class file that came with this campaign?

It seems like Bf-110C4 is set up as a transport plane in your class file. Check Aircraft Settings Panel in DCG. Also, Bf-109E4/B may be missing from the class file and is replaced by Bf-110C4.
