Thank you very much Whiskey Sierra!  ;D
Here's the jap depot just south of Red1, it's full of nice things to destroy with your bombs!

Awesome work  :D

Nice to see a lot of detail  :D

Just a reminder instead of using Jap I'd use Japanese

I got reported once for typing kamikaze when posting about a Japanese aircraft that had a particular version for that.

Any way keep up the good work  ;D

Cheers

Hi Filippo,

Great to see the work of fellow map makers and your interest in historical accuracy !
Roads by hand, way to go by the way... I am no fan of zig-zags...

Have fun (I am sure you are...)!

It really fills me with joy see your appreciation! You're right Zoran I'm really having a lot of fun recreating all these little details of the map, it's really satisfying to see the progresses little by little! Thank you too Kirby for the kind reminder, I was sure that "jap" was just a shorter way to say japanese, but it doesn't seem so eheheh, sorry my mistake!   :P

Here I am back at mapping! This is my version of the beach fortification, I've made assembling various objects, what do you think about it?

Just a suggestion about avoid too many objects , test fly over the island quite often to check fps....

Got it Whiskey, my pc seems to handle it quite well up to now, even if it suffers a little bit when i look in the depot area, I'll do my best to conciliate fps and level of detail. Afterall consider that Red1 beach sector is the most populated, so I think that I might succeed without having to decrease the detail.
FYI my RAM is 8GB.

However here's a new sector ready to fight, it's a strange complex of trenches and pillboxes in the southern part, just nord of Black1 Beach:

Edit: it seems that I've put some extra beach fortification, that were not there in the real island, in the eastern sector of Red1, now that I've removed them the FPS are just fine!
Thank you too JG7_X_Man, I'm doing my best to make you feel that to capture this island you'll need "one million men and one hundred years."
