Issues With Starting up JTW
« on: August 04, 2016, 12:56:41 AM »

Installed JTW module for CUP expansion and proceeded to launch with the IL-2 Selector. I clicked Launch... after a few seconds the window closes and nothing happens, and the window automatically reopens instantly (as if I exited out of the game). I wasn't shown any loading screen, nothing. Tried everything I could, no joy. Any help?

log.lst please.

Read how to get the log here, and the instant log here.

Important: read here which part(s) from the log to post
and how to post it. (code option!)

Best regards - Mike

I'm sorry, I put all of the correct settings into the conf.ini file and still nothing good. It might be because the game doesn't even start up, giving it no chance to start the logs, but I'm not sure.

We don't know in which drive and folder you've installed your IL-2 1946 and C.U.P. but ..... not few new comers missed his error log file even that was created there.
Please search it again carefully.

The beginning of the correct error log is like here:

When much deep core classfiles (like GUI.class) make version mismatching by wrong mod selection or installing steps, we often get no meaning error log because of the crashing occurs in very early stage of starting-up. Even it, the error log file is created in each crashing time (only stopping its recording around 40 lines without showing any error suggestions).

When you find the correct error log file, but no error suggestion in it, try Startup Debugger.

From your latest post.....

You might install SASModAct / CUP modules in wrong steps or in wrong ways and break your game , impossible to rescue.
I feel it needs clean install from zero.
