the sounds are from the original game , using VP modpack that has JiverSOUNDS_4.12 plus I use tigers soundmod, so can you add custom sounds for the aircraft in the game to change to something more meatier the a lawnmower, No criticism of the mod just want to add some more realistic sounds
The sound is stock intentionally in order to keep the mod compatible with every base game version available.
Unfortunately the choice of engine sounds is pretty limited in that case.

Alternatively, please find another flight model file attached to this post where instead the Nakajima Sakae sound from Modact 5+ is referenced, that should fit a little better.
To install, just extract the "KI94II_FM" from this zip file to your "Ki-94-II" mod folder and overwrite the existing file there (you might want to make a backup of the original file for safety reasons, that's up to you).

Best regards - Mike

Dear all,
I downloaded and installed the aircraft in my game CUP20. I tried the plane in QMB and got a 7 FPS. Am I alone?
Regards.

I can't speak about CUP 20 but I can tell you that it flies fine in VP's modpak without any FPS loss at all. And I can promise you I have absolutely stuffed this copy with planes and a moderate amount of other mods. It GROANS when ever I open it!!  o_O

Dear Darkwind,
sorry for the trouble, I had my log=1 in my conf.ini. I made a test with log=0 and got 60fps.
It is a plane which stalls easily. I crashed three times in a row.
Thank you and best regards.

When the plane gives you so many log entries that activating the log causes the FPS to drop from 60 to 7, then it would be very interesting to see what exactly gets written to the log there.
Could you please show us your log contents so we can try to figure out the cause, thereby avoiding similar issues for other players?
Thanks!

The readme clearly points out that the supercharger and cockpit location caused this plane design to become pretty tail heavy, therefore it's supposed to have tricky stall behaviour.
This is one of the few planes where even AI sometimes flips the plane on it's back ;)
By the way the readme also tells you the flat spin recovery procedure for this plane.
Quite like in real life, it's vital to read and understand the pilot's notes before you jump the seat of such a beast ;)

Dear Storebror,
I launched the game with log=1 and the Ki 94 on qmb. I got 7 fps then suddenly 50 and then 7 again. Hereunder my log text: rows  of "to many vertexes" then an improvement then "too many vertexes" again. I must say that I installed  sweetfx downloaded from M4T yesterday. Is there a connection?

Thanks for the log lines tartenmuche.
It looks like you are not running your game in "perfect mode", therefore more restrictive 3D object limits apply to your game.
If your game is running in OpenGL mode, you might want to take a look at our conf.ini settings guides:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,9756.msg185327.html#msg185327

If your PC cannot run the game in OpenGL mode and you're forced to use DirectX (like e.g. when you use Integrated IntelHD graphics on a Laptop for instance) then there might be no fix available.
