Actually the FM on reply #13 is NOT the new FM. Reply #13 contains the old buggy FM.

The new improved FM is now included in the download of the aircraft on page 1.  (Ki-94-II_2016-09-05.zip)   ;)

As promised, here is a campaign for this gem of an aircraft. I'm not that much into "What-If's", but this time I couldn't resist myself. See it as a big "Thank you" for this excellent piece of modding:

This is a static, non-historical “what-if” campaign, 8 missions long. It is set in early 1946. The premise is that when Nazi-Germany is defeated in May 1945, fighting breaks out in Europe between the Western Allies and the Soviet Union, distracting the war effort of the United States against Japan in the Pacific. At the same time the Manhattan project gets delayed. All this means that Imperial Japan gets a much needed respite, which she uses to abandon many of her hard-won gains, and to concentrate her meagre resources on defending the Home Islands against an inevitable US invasion in 1946 - "Operation Downfall".

You get to pilot the Tachikawa Ki-94-II, which was of course never used operationally. In this campaign it is. (And with those 30mm cannons, it's a real killing machine, not least against B-29's.) But your enemies have "1946"-style aircraft as well. So be prepared to meet the P-80 in dogfights.

Download it here: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=2340

REQUIREMENTS: This campaign has been built for modded 4.12. I made it with the VP Mod Pack, but there is no reason why it shouldn’t work in HSFX or CUP as well, as long as you got 101tfs’ excellent Tachikawa Ki-94-II. No additional downloads except that aircraft is needed.

Some more screenies:

Thanks for looking!  :)

I have a weird question.... is it just my game that I see the airplane skin in the size of 1024 x 512 ?

I thought they would all work much better if they were in the normal size of 1024 x 1024 ?
I think this is the first time I see an airplane skin with these sizes.

I didn't touch the default skin but maybe 101tfs can shed some light on this.

Best regards - Mike
