Vehicle Model Re-textures + new DEAD versions - Part 1

I want to post and share with you guys and gals here some of my recent retextures for the IL2-1946+Mods.

These posts will be of retextures (skins) for ALL the Vehicles+Tanks+SPGs etc. etc. we have in our game.
They look nice as they are but some skins could use a little more detailing, so I am upgrading my personal game
to the next level by adding more eye-candy and some different skins ++ Plus some dead vehicle versions which many
did not have before.
This old game still has ALOT of potential to look even better.
If you like them use them, if you donĀ“t like them , do not use them. It is your personal modded game.
I am just sharing my stuff with you.

Each post below will have a skin package for a set of vehicles (or tanks or whatever I am retexturing).

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for each package and make sure you already have this model in your game.

If you do not have these models, look in the forum and download it - These have been made available before and
they have been installed into many Mod-packages before.... example;   VP-Modpack... C.U.P. Modpack... TFM modpack, etc.

Before you install any of these new skins + extras, you should already have the models and their needed ini lines
written down in YOUR Game.
You should have them working already, because my downloads will NOT have the complete things from the original download.

What you will get in my downloads are
new retextured skins + corrected alpha-channels + new dead model versions + new files with fixes to overwrite the
original files + new human model files and skins that go with these vehicles.
The only lines you will NEED TO CHANGE are inside the "Technics.ini" file - THAT is the only other important file in your game you
will be changing.
Its very easy.
Just follow the READ ME Instructions I have placed inside each download package.

I am going to write this in a simple manner so you can understand in a simple way
how to install this into your game.


First you MUST already have these armored vehicle in your game.
If you do not have them get them here from WingFlyr package -https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,20498.0.html
and install them.
 
---->  ONLY Then can you add these new skins and extra versions.

If you have problems, ask in that forum section and read the instructions.
It is very easy to install these.

new Retextures for Summer + Winter + Desert + DMG (damage/dead) versions

IMPORTANT NOTE...
Look inside your game folders and locate the "Tank" folder.
There are 2 folders inside of the "Tank" folder named SdKfz234_1
and SdKfz234_2


You are only to erase (or de-activate the folders with a "-" minus sign )
the folders named SdKfz234_1 and SdKfz234_2
from your personal game
and replace them with these from this package.

After that you MUST write the following lines into your technics.ini - replacing
the old lines in it.

This will give your game a proper vehicle 3d-model and skins for it
plus give you a dead version for when it gets burned (damaged).
On the armored vehicle SdKfz234_1 this model version will have the 2 crewmen removed
from it when it gets burned (dead).
You will not see the soldiers burned, only the armored vehicle burned.

Add the following lines into your technics.ini

Go into your 4.12 game version and look in the section...
...IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\#SAS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects
and open "Technics.ini" file with NOTEPAD.
Locate and find the following ...

Erase old lines and add these new lines...

Perhaps on a later date in the future I will create a desert version.

------> a folder named "Textures".
This folder is for the damaged effects skins shown under the dead Panther tank version.
It must be placed in the folder where the vehicle/tanks/cars folders are located
inside the "3do" folder.
THIS folder is a MUST and must NEVER be erased. Many many 3d-models in the upcoming
package downloads will use these skins which are inside this "textures" folder.

NOTE - In the near future I will make available a new skin version of the PANTHER Tanks
without the "Zimmerit" anti-mine paste.

INSIDE EACH FOLDER you will notice an extra "Textures" folder with 2 skins.(named decal)
Please place this folder into each section. It is needed for the "dead" versions and future updates+upgrades.

Each model folder contains retextured skins for Summer + Winter + Desert + DMG (damage/dead) versions.
(NOTE - Some vehicles do not contain desert or winter versions)

IMPORTANT NOTE...

You are only to erase (or de-activate the old model folders with a "-" minus sign )
for safe-keeping for future use. It is up to you what you do with old model versions
from your personal game.

After you install the new model folders into their proper sections (example...CARS...SPG...TANKS)
then you MUST write the following lines (seen below) into your technics.ini - replacing
the old lines in it.
This ini file is the only thing needed to be changed in written lines
inside your game. Every other ini file stays the same.

This will give your game a proper vehicle 3d-model and skins for it
plus give you a dead version for when it gets burned (damaged).

Our good friend LOKU was very kind to upgrade the VW82 Kubelwagen to
now include a windshield.

I did some alpha-channel changes and painted for it a new set of
windshield wipers and some glass dirt.
I hope you like this new version  in your game.

Included are Summer + Winter + Desert + DEAD versions.

If you already have the downloaded and installed the last version Kubelwagen (with no windshield) I had posted before...just
overwrite all the files into the same folders.
The "technics.ini" writen lines are the same as before.

This game needs new vehicles to shoot at ! More ground targets!

READ ME

I am going to write this in a simple manner so you can understand in a simple way
how to install this into your game.


--------------------------------

This is a folder I have inside my STATIC OBJECTS
It is called...
\3do\Buildings\VehicleExtras

If you do not have this folder... create one ---- VehicleExtras

Inside I have some vehicles which can be used as extra static-objects
and I use diferent skins on them for the game.
These are the BUS collection.
There are many other vehicles and cars which will be posted later.

Place inside your game this new bus model collection and
then add the new lines into your Static.ini file.

ALL versions already have a dead" version and each one is diferent.

If you have any of these previous models already installed in your game from before,
I suggest to delete them or remove them from your game.
These contain all new files and new skins which make the old versions
look much better. On some bus versions I kept the original colors but
gave the bus a new skin-template with more clear lines and details.
The original default skins were in size 256x256.
These new skins are in 512x512.

Place the Opelblitz36s inside a "Car" folder which does not come with another folder named "Opelblitz36S".... example... 3do/Cars/OpelBlitz36s
There are 2 versions already in your game which share the same named folder. One is the original
game stock model and the other is the newer model version.
One can only be used as a STATIC MODEL (this one) - and the newer version can only be used as
a STATIONARY version.


The Magirus trucks go inside a folder named "VehicleExtras" in the game section
3do/Buildings/VehicleExtras

IMPORTANT NOTE =
The Opelblitz36s is ONLY to be used as a "STATIC" version. There is already a newer model
version which can be used as a Stationary. -- Unfortunatelly this newer model version cannot be
used as a Static model. Perhaps in the future.
So this is only new skins to replace the original game truck.

IMPORTANT NOTE =
These "Magirus" german trucks use the same 3d-models as the Opel Blitz 36S.
These are ALL static model versions, but they were already made into "stationary" versions

You may keep these seperate as static models, or you can also overwrite the
