Can`t load TGA module
« on: September 10, 2016, 05:19:42 AM »

I have installed C.U.P mod with DOF, TGA, WAW modules. I didn`t install TJA. My selector doesn`t see The Golden age, but he sees The Jet Age. What problem?

Try downloading the latest SAS selector. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling TGA

I found I have this issue too.

It was a clean 4.12.2 with a clean install of DoF, WAW and TGA.
My MOD selector is 5.30 - the latest, I believe but the list of module options does not include TGA.

If I DL the MODselector again and run it, do I need to reinstall all the modules in order?

Thanks?

This happens when you mess up the installation order.
TGA was the latest module to be released, therefore it needs to be the last one to be installed, otherwise the file "il2fb.ini" will get overwritten with an outdated version from times when TGA didn't even exist.

The easiest way to fix this is to download the il2fb.zip file attached to this post, extract it and copy/overwrite the il2fb.ini file contained within to your C.U.P. game folder.

Best regards - Mike

Hi Mike,
I think Mustang identified that in the Safety Net down load file,   the il2fb.ini actually has the missing  #TGA bit
So when you delete all the #xxx files as instructed  and load the Safety Net content.  You have lost the TGA selection in the Selector.
It is a wonder there are not more things as this is now a huge undertaking to get all sorted out and I am absolutely impressed at the teams effort and the work involved.
Our comments are by no means a complaint -  far from it  :)   just want to help folks get to a happy place.

Kind regards.
