Strange thing happened last night,  IT Worked  !!   I took it for a ride ,  no  problems until I crashed it on landing , then i got a CTD with the "usual" text  !! 
I shall D/L the new version,   and yes i checked Diffm is there !!

Would you eventually mind showing us your log contents when you report all those mysterious crashes?
Otherwise I will simply start ignoring further reports and might eventually decide to start pulling them.

I have also this problem under my 4.09m install (no pack, Tiger UV3 mod, SAS IL-2 selector 3.1.4), only with these birds:

P1Y1, Hawk-81 NotMod, He-177

---> the quick mission loads correctly, the cockpit appears, the sim freezes one second after. The only way to recover Windows is CTRL-ALT-SUPPR.   

Attached are the debuggers for each aircraft.

I think this problem affects only my (or some) install (Windows Vista) because when I load these planes under a lighter install in 4.09m (only original ini files, wide screen, SAS Common Utils, Aircraft LH Stub 4.09, UV3 Tiger, Separate buttons) the planes are working well once or twice out of three.

My java version is updated.

For the Hawk-81, I precise that the version from Epervier works nice (thanks to him !  ).

Well that's odd, the He-177 is out since more than 2.5 years and this is the first time that such an error gets reported.
Anyway, better late than never.
What all 3 planes have in common is that they require the "AircraftLH" mod to run.
I'd suspect that the issue lies somewhere in there, but additionally what all 4.09m error reports have in common is that the log doesn't show the error itself, just something that happens right before and the resulting VM crash happening thereafter.
Looks like there's no "Instant Log" mod available for 4.09?

That's great.
I've looked for it in the Rebels section but couldn't find any trace of it.
Could you enlighten me and your Rebel fellows?
InstantLog likely is the missing piece of our puzzle here.

Sorry for double-post.
Another, maybe faster way to get this kind of issue sorted would be if one of the "victims" could send me a download link to his full set of mods, meaning the whole "FILES" and "MODS" folders of that 4.09 game and anything else (SFS files?) required to get the same installation with the same error on my side.
That way I could quickly check what's causing the troubles.

the P1Y1 (v1.4) is running perfectly in my 4.10 & DBW.

But I miss the "round wheels" from v1.1m. 

Please give me a hint.
