Wow! The Ki-49-II "Storm Dragon" is looking great! I can't wait to fly her! 

And looking at his happy face, it is clear that mister Jack Nicholson is also enjoying his flights behind the controls of the Ki-49!

Looks like Ki-49 should have Fowler flaps flaps that also extend rearwards like in Ki-84, though. I couldn't find very good pic with flaps down, but at least I see a gap between wing and flap at http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=1109.0 to confirm such flap type.

I've had a busy week and another busy weekend ahead so not much time to proceed.
It's going slow but it's going fine, nothing in sight like a show stopper.
My estimation is that it will be finished around end of next week.
XF-5U will be next then.
