Background of this issue is the special layout of the flying flapjack as a lifting body.
In IL-2 this gets simulated by merging the inner wing with the fuselage.
As a result, you cannot shoot off the inner wing part, but this was not reflected by the damage model (yet).
It is reflected in the 3D model by large "CAP" meshes for the inner wings which basically resemble the whole lift body / wing structure after all other parts have been fallen off.
Bottom line is that it'll be fixed in the upcoming update by avoiding the inner wing wreckage creation in that situation.
I've implemented that in my local WIP, it works.
Oh... did I say that the visual representation of cyclic prop pitch changes work as well?
For visual enthusiasts the next update will be definitely worth waiting.
