Well, I'm very late but I would like to thak 101tfs, Storebror and all involved for the XF5U, P1Y1, Ki-94 and Ki-49-II!
It's time to come back to Il-2...

Bye!

This thing is one of the sweetest little modded ship to come along...wonderfully well done I think! Wish some talented skinner would slap some fancy Blackhawk markings on it ...it looks like just the thing he and his group of do-gooder adventurers could have use in'42! ;)

I Love this plane! Thank You! I have a couple of questions, though. First, how do you get the propellers to do that swivel thing? Second, I've found that the additional skins don't appear in my DBW installation. How come?

I feel like this plane is the grandfather of the OV-22 Osprey!

Thanks for the feedback guys, also in the name of 101tfs who did that great 3D model, much appreciated :)

how do you get the propellers to do that swivel thing?
You mean from a players or a programmers point of view?
From a players point of view, you just need to pull your stick or kick a rudder pedal.
This will engage the cyclic blade mechanism, which you will see immediately.
The vectoring/swivel effect naturally will only happen when the prop is actually rotating.
It all depends on the prop's RPM, with no RPM no vectoring/swivel effect can happen since the blades are just mounted to the hub fexibly, they don't have an active vectoring/swivel actuator.
You can see the effect pretty well when you look from outside / sideways at your prop while it starts to roll.

From a programmers point of view we'd need to meet, have a few cans of coffee and lots of time to explain.

the additional skins don't appear in my DBW installation
The "PaintSchemes" folder from the addon skins archive goes straight into the DBW installation folder, not into the mods folder.
There are two "normal" skins inside, one true color skin and one 2048x2048 HD skin.
Depending on whether or not your have the True Color / HD mod installed, you will see either two or four additional skins.

Best regards - Mike

No matter how much I move the stick or rudder, the propellers just stay straight. That swivel thing that I've seen in the animation that someone posted simply DOES NOT happen in my game. What did I miss?
