Eddie Rickenbacker Campaign Episode 6
« on: October 21, 2016, 11:17:43 PM »

In this episode, the 94th relocates to a new aerodrome.... Our flight runs into some enemy

Finally figured out the TrackIR better, which makes my aim better.

Landing... Well I should have gone around... Landed with a tailwind which didn't work for me, and the mechanics are mad now hahaha

Great video once again!  8) I enjoy them all very much!
You may have crashed on landing but there is nothing that a little glue and new canvas patches can´t fix! LOL
It was good. No one got hurt.

So, when are you going to run across the Jagdgeschwader 1 "Flying Circus" bad guys?
Didn´t Rickenbacker fight them?

Excellent video, excellent flying  8)
The N28C1 is a very capable a/c......the D II's are easy meat for it, have you flown against DVa's & DVII's ?
What skill level do you set your AI ?
I've found that if I set mine to veteran it take quite a degree of skill to shake them....and heavy use of the rudder to get behind them for a shot.
Sometimes I've found that the only way to destroy them is lead them in a screaming dive and see whose wings come off first   :D
Hilarious landing....I don't know how many times I've nosed over Nieuport's  :D .....looks like you were coming in slightly too fast, I've found that the Nieuport's (especially the older one's ) will literally float down to land with the power off at 50 -60 kph....
I also must try TrackIR ......looks very useful !

Cheers

Alfie

P.S Seems like you're another person waiting patiently for the Spad XIII     :P

Thanks guys,

Alfie, for some reason the DVa doesn't work in my game. I don't know? Yes in fact if you watch episode 5 there are quite a bit of DVII's in the air.  As far as the enemy AI, I set my campaigns to random weather and random Skill for the AI that way each time you fly it they will be different.

I believe I had the wind set to 2 or 3 m/s and it was at my tail, I should have come in the other way into the wind, that would have helped hahaha
