Looks great  8) Very cool

Personally, I usually leave Japanese aircraft with PTO style paint-schemes. But the variety of them are
so many and wonderful , that you will have a great time painting the many styles. They are very needed for
the PTO maps and missions.
On some occasions I paint a few "what-ifs" on some skins, but usually select a late WW2 German paint scheme.
Perhaps if the WW2 went on until 1946, the Japanese also shared their inventions with the Germans, as was the
case of my J7W1 aicraft being painted in German JG colors with Reich-Defense tail bands.
You can do something of the sort if you wish.
But this particular aircraft does not seem technologically advanced in that it would have been of much interest to
the Germans, because by 1945 they had much more advanced aircraft already flying.
But there is also a variety of skins that could also be made for a "what-if" captured aircraft being used by the Russians, USA
 and British.
Anyway, the sky has no limits and so does your imagination. So use it and create anything you want ! All skins are welcome!

Looking good! Some Japanese skins for the Ki-45 are always welcome. Many Ki-45's had very interesting camouflage schemes. But, like Max said, the sky's the limit... anything you think looks good.  :)

If you're looking for some ideas, how about something like this?

I haven't seen this one before either...

or one like in this video...

Yeah I would be happy to do some of those and for the German ones I thought it would be interesting to see some Japanese aircraft in both early mid and late War European schemes.

Really unusual but well done. Now just to find a background and it's ok (maybe a japanese unit send in Germany for learning Luftwaffe tactics against heavy bombers...)

Not quite that unusual I would think since Germany sent the 109 the ju-87 and a 262 to Japan, I'm trying to think of what they might have looked like had your pan exported most if not all of its aircraft. Definitely not meant as a historical aspect more as a fun what if

The 262 never made it to Japan. Neither did any of the German jet engines. All submarines that were supposed to take them were either sunk or surrendered to the Allies. The only thing the Japanese received was a drawing and a few photos they took themselves.  ;)

If you're interested in captured aircraft, there's always this one... the bare metal finish also looks good on the Ki-45...

Ah, it gives another reason to speculate over "what if" Germany/USSR separate peace scenario.
USSR becomes neutral (de jure) but allows Axis military transit. Germans focuses on jet and rocket technology, while Japan boosts production of the most advanced piston engine types - at lower costs. Transsib is upgraded and extended to allow direct railing between the Soviet Far East and Europe.
Ki-45 shown in the first post has been one of hundreds shipped from Japan in kits via Vladivostok and re-assembled in Germany... 8)

It's true the 262 didn't make it to Japan but plans and drawings and photographs did which the Japanese built a version of the 262 and a new design the Kika, both of which flew.
