Way back in January 2015, I asked whether anyone would be willing and able to create IL-2 skins for any of the aircraft my cousin Stanley Roland Chambers flew during and after WWII.
Original Spitfire and Tempest skin request

I had gracious responses, with terrific information from vpmedia (which transformed the scope of what was possible) and offers from Phas3e and HBPencil to create actual skins. Almost two whole years have passed since my original request. I hope that vpmedia, Phas3e and HBPencil are still on the forum and that they and others will forgive the long silence.
You see, while I have been quiet on SAS, here at home I have been working away at my cousin’s life-story, which became a major undertaking. I have this week finally finished writing his biography [see https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,52945.0.html].
My cousin will be 100 on the 21st November, and I will present him with a handsome bound copy of his biography.
Noting VP media’s request, I am supplying a selection of aircraft flown by F/Sgt – P/O - F/Lt – Master Pilot (post-war) Stan(ley) Roland Chambers during his career.

Is anyone prepared to create skins for any of these aircraft please? Obviously not by November 21st! :-)
