I have the stand alone install and they work... With the right Folder name.

What about my BAT Log above?
Skins in my skinfolder "F84F1_Thunderstreak" work only when I replace the TGB with a fix.
And they do work with other F84s, so they are OK I think..

Strange. I have to do more investigations on this:
trying other skins, HD DLLs etc ..

Yeah what about that log. I have no idea. Some other modifications or HD not set up right?

try mm's skins or the French one from my Suez Campaign pack. They all work in my BAT.

I went to M4T and downloaded some skins... Placed them in the skins folder ...Oh boy I 'm ready now..
Not a damn one of them would show.. NOT ONE.

So I have been playing with this now for over an hours.. What it turns out to be is ...This plane only see's 2048 x 2048 skins.
I down loaded them and they ALL Show...

You are right Gunny, this 12MB skins works for me too, also the Skin from Andys Suez Campaign.
And: no log error messages anymore... !?
I'm confused. Seems I forgot everything about this game. 

To my excuse: since nearly 2 years I play other games like AC Odyssee,
FC Primal, FC 5, etc and now Wildlands ..  with 60yrs now I must be more careful...
staying out of something for a longer time and its gone!

Well, yes, just as I said....

1. A HD only mod (meaning: the default skin in the mod is 2048²) ONLY accepts other HD skins, no 1024²
2. This mod now has a remodelled 3d. All old skins on M4T are not even for this particular mod but for the old franken one. They would not work no matter what.

In BAT, the mods are all remodelled to also accept 1024² skins, so there is a DIFFERENCE between stand alone and BAT.

I hope things are clearer now.
