MISSING FROM SAS MME PART-15 - NOW PRESENT AND CORRECT WITH PART-16

THE GILBERT AND MARSHALL ISLANDS BY DPETERS95
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,50772.0.html

I am really pleased to present dpeter95's beautiful map like this.  It provides a great opportunity to fly around and take some nice shots.  There are many of these archipelagos across this Pacific island chain northeast of Australia.  The map features well populated land and sea bases.

There are also some minor issues with SAS MME Part-15 - Namely out of date labels and all.INIs.  These are corrected by installing SAS MME Part-16, which should be considered the latest, and definitive, install of the SAS MME.

Thanks to Mission_BUG for another excellent update of the stationary aircraft.  Without good scenery and dioramas we have a plain universe to deal with.  Thanks for helping us all to keep up.

Many thanks to dpeter95, not only for producing some of the finest Pacific maps in the sim, but also for his help and encouragement over many years now.

Obviously CUP is created by the modders and we, the CUP Team, are merely concerned with solving compatibility issues and streamlining the install.

However, the fact is that it would still be an impossible task without the direct assistance of so many modders.

What a beautiful place, but war is coming...

Note: Be sure to also download and apply SAS MME PART-16B

My bad, explanation in readme, no big deal really... ;D

Hello Cap' - we will get around to those Kingfisher missions now that CUP is settled down... ;D

CUP SAS MODULAR MAP EXPANSION PART-16B

Undated in first post (above)

This is the Static.INI fix.  This file SAS MME PART-16B contains the latest and most up-to-date Static.ini for all CUP Modules.

I am sorry that it wasn't more easily included earlier down the line.  One of the consequences of multiple uploads and tests is that sometimes the wrong file version slips through.

There is also a variation between the Static.ini for #WAW and that for #JTW, because of the very different vehicle sets used.  This is how the mix up has happened in the first place.

Another minor adjustment moves 'Lapland for Jets' into the Jet Age section of the Maplist.  It is now called: 'Modern Norway'.

FMB Mission Builders also get a new copy of Static_list_FMB.TXT in each Mod Folder.

This is the fix, this is the latest fully working set.

Ah, I must confess I forgot about that for awhile. Had a few reasons I never got back to you on that, but I won't clutter up the thread explaining!

I've just acquired a powerful new computer, so once I get my own stuff settled down, I can work on this again...  ;)

Excellent - Despite our deep interests we are not obsessives.  We all have lives to lead and some things take up more time than others.

What we all have in common is that we are drawn back here, as time allows... ;D
