Hughes P21-J Devastator

Hughes P21-J Devastator
Fighter-Bomber

History: The original Mk I Devastator was a concept model, created by Hughes Aviation, to demontrate the effectiveness of the pusher configuration as applied to combat aircraft. Although lightly armored, the Mk I was a smash success with several key demographics, including state militias.

Here's some WIP Photos for those interested and those who've played Crimson Skies and know the Saga.

Now, I must say, I am going to make multiple versions based on info I have gotten from the wiki here; however, I need some feedback from players of the actual game and people who really enjoyed the game and want this in IL-2. What I've made is slightly different in a few aspects, but I want to know what the actual players (*cough* Eugene *cough*) think about this and need some feedback from them. Those who've played the game will know that the Devastator had a contra-rotating prop at the back - two sets of 3 blade props and also had a version where it used the Alison V engines and then switched to single 4 blade prop in the Mark III.

Original Devastator:

^ No sign of engine

Again, no visible engine

I have no idea what Microsoft was doing here. (note flat/straight canards)

^Radial engine visible..? Is this the Mark 3? It looks like 4 blades, but it's actually 3 blades contra-rotating if you play the game.

Canards and mount/fixture showcase.

My WIP Devastator:

I blame the oddly shaped canards due to the creator of the drawings I had used as a reference - thinking they were correct, I had used them without checking, it's not necessarily a big difference, but disappointing nonetheless. :-|

I am ignoring you because I have a special reply for you which I will post when I'm at home (ps it's good nothing negative/hostile)

I know right?? That's going to be the fun & personally, my favorite part. 8)

PS, thanks for the positive review guys, but I sort of need some actual feedback on the model, which I had asked & not gotten any such feedback about what I asked...   :-|

Look at it as a chance: You start 10 projects and get each of them to 99%.
Once you find time to do the final 1%, you could do it for all of them in one day and roll out a huge christmas surprise ;)

...
So apparently, there's a game based off Crimson Skies (if it isn't, then you tell me, I am 1000000% percent sure it's a Crimson Skies influenced [heavily] video game) and it's called Bomb: Who let the dogfight? Check the link and look at the second video. Guess I've got some more aircraft inspiration now too. I may buy this to review it but recent reviews have been pretty negative.
