How to save the "Controls" from CUP to BAT
« on: January 04, 2017, 07:08:54 AM »

Dear all,
I am now installing BAT but I have to rewrite the "Controls" values. It gives me headache because i use  an azerty keyboard.
My question is to know whether there is an easy way to copy and paste the "Controls" of my existing CUP game into the new BAT one? It is also valid for other versions of the game.
I tried at least to make a copy of the "Controls" screen by using the key "Windows" plus "print screen" but I get always the same page.
Help is welcome.
Regards and best wishes for 2017.

Controls key bindings are generally (also stock games) saved into the folder of
game root / Users / USERNAME (default is doe) /
as the filename "settings.ini" .

When you copy the file, or whole of Users/ folder, from C.U.P. game root to B.A.T. game root, it will be OK.

And when you push "PrintScreen" key without any other Windows key / Alt key / Shift key in Controls setting screen, that Controls screen is captured in your MyScreenShots folder by different timestamp filenames (by SASModAct game, C.U.P. and B.A.T.) as same as in flight screenshots --- IL-2 1946's standard screenshot function.
