If you can login on Histmond you should be able to download. When you're logged click this link
http://www.histomod.fr/Mod-Cockpits-P-47-D27.7z.
It  says the link is broken.

... I PMed Freddy way back on June 22th about this broken link, and he said he would fix it, but well I suppose he then forgot about it ...  ;)

So I just PMed him again, please Stanko, don't upload it anywhere else as I know for sure that Freddy wouldn't like it at all ...

Let's be patient ...  ;D

Good news,

Freddy has just downed the trojan that was plaguing Histomod FTP server, just allow 2 or 3 days for him to reupload what suffered during the dogfight ...  ;D

Hello Mick,

This isn't a complaint as I read the thread before taking a chance with these mods. Sadly, my set up can't handle them at all, and I get total freeze. Have you any info regarding a possible low res version?

Cheers mate :)

... no there isn't a low res version of that very heavy pit (Freddy doesn't like low res things ...  ;) )

But you can make your own low res version, take each and every TGA file and reduce its size by 50% for ex with a pic editing prog (I use FastStone image viewer for such easy tasks) ...

It's a lengthy process but in the end you would be able to simply fly aboard that beautiful pit ...  ;)

Thanks Mick, I'll try it in Photoshop.  :)

Done and installed. Unfortunately, all that shows are blank, black/white spaces where textures should be. I'd show a couple of pics but "the "Insert Image" button still doesn't seem to work for me.

Never mind mate. It was worth a try.

Cheers.  :)

exactly what are the min specs for this pit to work? Also how do you find the P-47 mods included in HSFX? if this is what causing my fps to drop to under 20 with out knowing where these files are located than this pit is just wishful thinking. If reducing the size of the tga files doesn't result in a low res. version than what else? quad core 2.4, 9600gt, 4gb mem, 500gb HD, SB extreme gamer, 21in LCD hell what else, while I know this is not the top of the line system I also know it's not at the bottom end either.  Why would you create a mod with such high specs on a game that been around for at least 10yrs and hasn't been upgrade by the creators....... Thanks TC
